    Crocodylus Park

    Crocodylus Park near Darwin offers the rare opportunity to view crocodiles from a comfortable, close proximity. The Park also offers a museum displaying information on the evolution and diversification of crocodile species. As well as displaying a large number of live crocodiles, Crocodylus Park shows a variety of primates, birds, turtles, and iguanas.

    Litchfield National Park
    Litchfield National Park, 100 km (62 mi) south of Darwin, features termite mounds and waterfalls from the Tabletop Range as well as offering examples of the habitats of the Northern Territory's Top End. The park offers camping, picnic, swimming, and walking areas.

    Indo Pacific Marine
    The Indo Pacific Marine is a marine environmental and research center. There are many different displays of small underwater ecosystems, including a full living coral reef. All displays are kept as natural as possible, with new fish only being introduced as feed for those which are carnivorous.

    Darwin Crocodile Farm
    Thousands of crocodiles call the Darwin Crocodile Farm their home. Crocodiles are bred here, and several different species including the American Alligator, Australian Freshwater Crocodile, and White Saltwater Crocodile are located here. Tours of the farm are provided, and most of these give guests the chance to witness a feeding.

    Howard Springs Nature Park
    Howard Springs Nature Park is a 283 hectare reserve that features a variety of diverse habitats, including monsoon forests and extensive swamps. Shady picnic areas are available, and the swimming hole is crocodile free. A variety of wildlife, birds, and vegetation can be seen here.
